sequencing

Two scenarios.

option 1

Ambassador Haley, et. al. persuade President Biden to offer me the Democratic nomination to run for President of your United States this year. President Biden writes his own ticket, e.g. Supreme Court, whatever, and I pledge him my full support in whatever endeavour, private or public. When I see a man whom I can trust, I know it. If Mr. Biden doesn't already believe Our word can be relied on, he never will. In my first (only?) term as President, I eliminate the Federal Income tax. In 2028, then Vice-President Haley runs for President with my full support. In 2030, I run for Governor of Michigan.

option 2

I run for Governor of Michigan in 2026, and, while every Michigander is still sending gobs of money to Washington, D.C., try to decentralise Michigan on a shoestring budget.

+/-

One advantage of option 1 is that even before I become Governor of Michigan, there will have been more than 50 governors in 50 states, and 3,143 counties, from whom We can learn what was effective and why.

One disadvantage of option 2 is I am duplicating Our efforts. Whatever I do or don't do in My first (only?) term as Governor of Michigan will have to be mostly reworked once the DC$ pipeline stops flowing both ways.

I can do it either way. Efficiently, or the way We've been doing IT for the last 61 years.

You can't say 'yes' if I don't ask.

Please may I take my riding course sooner than currently scheduled and borrow a Road King to see ZZ Top & Lynyrd Skynyrd at Soaring Eagle?

In case you think now is the time for me to compromise, you've not been paying attention. I compromise when appropriate.

Too many Americans have died for our "freedom" to compromise now.
